Bishop Farr started a church as the planting pastor and has pastored five different congregations in five very different settings that saw significant growth and impact in the communities they served. He has spent over nine years supervising scores of new church plants in the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church. He developed the Healthy Church Initiative (HCI) for church transformation. This ministry is used nationally in the United Methodist church. Bishop Farr is currently serving as Bishop of the Missouri Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.
